Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Bangalore is recruiting 91 posts of Technical Assistant, Nurse-B, Lab Technician-A, Technician-B, Draughtsman-B, Hindi Typist and Firemen for ISRO. ISRO, BANGALORE IS INVITING ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 91 POSTS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANT, NURSE, TECHNICIAN, TYPIST, FIREMAN & ETC. LAST DATE – 26/09/2014.

1. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT:
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows:-
(i) Mechanical: 3 Nos. (1 UR, 1 SC & 1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: 3 yrs Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60%.

(ii) Electronics: 2 Nos. (1 SC & 1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: 3 yrs Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 60%.

(iii) Computer Science: 1 Nos. (1 ST)
Educational Qualification: 3 yrs Diploma in Computer Science Engineering with 60%.

 

2. NURSE-B: 2 Nos. (2 UR)
Educational Qualification: SSLC and 3 yrs Diploma in Nursing.

 

3. LABORATORY TECHNICIAN-A: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational qualification: Diploma in Lab Technician.

 

4. TECHNICIAN-B
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows:-
(i) Electronic Mechanic: 30 Nos. (13 UR, 6 SC, 2 ST, 9 OBC, 1 OH & 4 EX-SER)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Electronics Mechanic Trade.

(ii) Fitter: 15 Nos. (7 UR, 2 SC, 1 ST, 5 OBC, 1 HH & 2 EX-SER)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Fitter Trade.

(iii) Refrigeration and Air conditioning: 3 Nos. ( 2 UR & 1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Refrigeration and Airconditioning Trade.

(iv) Wireman: 5 Nos. (2 UR, 1 SC & 2 OBC)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in WiremanTrade.

(v) Carpenter: 2 Nos. (1 UR & 1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in CarpenterTrade.

(vi) Plumber: 3 Nos. ( 1 UR, 1 SC & 1 OBC)

(vii) Pump Operator cum Mechanic: 1 Nos. ( 1 UR)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Pump Operator cum MechanicTrade.

(viii) Electroplating: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in ElectroplatingTrade.

(ix) Motor Vehicle Mechanic: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Motor Vehicle MechanicTrade.

(x) Photography: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in PhotographyTrade.

(xi) Turner: 2 Nos. (1 UR 1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Turner Trade.

(xii) Grinder: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Grinder Trade.

 

5. DRAUGHTSMAN-B
Discipline wise vacancies are as follows:-
(i) Mechanical : 7 Nos. (UR 3, SC 2 & 2 OBC)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in MechanicalTrade.

(ii) Civil: 3 Nos. ( 1 UR, 1 OBC & 1 SC)
Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/Matric and ITI in Civil Trade.

 

6. HINDI TYPIST: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with 60% and the candidates should have studied Hindi as a subject and should have Hindi Typing Speed of 25wpm on Computer. Knowledge of typing in English on Typewriter is desirable.

 

7. FIREMAN-A: 6 Nos. (UR-3, SC 1 & OBC-2)
Educational Qualification: SSLC.

 

Age Limit: For the post of Hindi Typist, minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years; for Fireman minimum 18yrs and maximum 25yrs AND for rest of all posts, minimum 18yrs and maximum 35 yrs.
The age will be counted as on 26/09/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of ISRO (See live URL below) between 06.09.2014 and 26.09.2014.
Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.

Application Fee: Candidates shall pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Accounts Officer, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore.

After filing the online application, the applicant has to send the DD with his/her Full Name (as entered in the web application), Post Number and Registration No. written on the reverse of the DD to Sr. Administrative Officer (RMT), ISRO Satellite Centre, Old Airport Road, Vimanapura Post, Bangalore -560 017 by ordinary post superscribing “RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ____________ (Post Name) [ __________ (Post No.)]” on the envelope within 10 days of filing of application and in any case not later than 06.10.2014.
No Application Fee for Women Candidates, Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-servicemen Candidates.
