1. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos.
Subject wise vacancies:
i. Computer Science & Engineering– 03 posts (OBC-B-01, ST -01, UR -01)
ii. Mechanical Engineering– 06 posts (UR-01, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-02, PWD-01)
iii. Chemical Engineering– 01 POST (OBC-A)
iv. Power Engineering– 01 post (SC)
Educational Qualification:
a) As per UGC regulation 2010 as amended up to date (i.e. July 11, 2016, 4th amendment) And State Government Regulations (Higher Education) [vide G.O. No. 142 – Edn / 1U-91/10 dt. 22.02.2011.
(i) For Chemical Engineering- First Class Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and /or PH.D. with First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
(ii) For Power Engineering- First class Masters Degree in Power / Mechanical / Electrical / Energy Engineering.
(iii) For Mechanical Engineering- a) 1st class Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and 1st class Master degree with Specialization-wise requirements given as follows :
Applied Mechanics : Masters in Mechanical, Applied Mechanics or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent or in Engineering Science.
Machine Design : Masters in Mechanical, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace or Design Engineering or equivalent.
Production : Masters in Mechanical, Industrial, Production or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent or in Production Engineering and Management.
(iv) For Chemical Engineering-
i. Consistently good academic record throughout the candidate’s career.
ii. Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering is desirable for candidates having Ph. D.
iii. Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization.
iv. Paper presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.
(v) For Power Engineering-
i. Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization.
ii. Papers presented at conferences and / or in refereed journals.
iii. First class in Bachelor degree or engineering in any one of the Power / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering branches.
Age Limit: As per State Government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100 and Grade Pay Rs.6,000/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Interview.
