Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi, as per Advertisement No. 02/2012, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the following posts – (i) Assistant, (ii) Assistant Librarian, (iii)Cashier, (iv) Typist and (v) Legal Assistant. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format which should reach the below prescribed address within 09-11-2012. Eligibility norms and information in brief is given below —
1. Assistant
Qualification: Graduate and knowledge of working on Computer with good typing speed.
2. Assistant Librarian
Qualification: Graduate and Degree in Library Science.
3. Cashier
Qualification: Graduate (Commerce/ Economic)
4. Typist
Qualification: Graduate and must have typing speed of 40 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
5. Legal Assistant
Qualification: Graduate in Law and must have experience of atleast 3yrs practice as a Lawyer.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 35yrs (between 25yrs to 38yrs for the post of Legal Assistant) as on 01/09/2012. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
Pay scale: Rs.9300—34800 (Rs.5200—20200 for the post of Typist) and Grade pay plus other allowances is as per rules.

Candidates should enclose attested copies (Attestation done by Gazetted officer) of Qualification certificates, Age proof, Experience, if any, Caste and Etc. enclose 3 Nos. passport size photographs (one copy is to be pasted on Application form with attestation from Gazetted officer), Bank Draft and One Nos. Self-addressed envelope (10X4.5) without any postal stamp.
Superscribe the top of the application form containing envelope with – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF_______ POST CODE____”.
Examination Fee: Interested candidates may prepare a Bank Draft of 500/- in favour of – Registrar General, Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi and payable at – Ranchi. Mention your name and address on the reverse of the Draft.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination followed by Viva Voce Test. Call letters will be sent to the eligible candidates in due course. Date and venue of Written Examination will be intimated through Call letters.
