Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)— Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand, is recruiting 31 boys/girls for the post of “Junior Staff Nurse (Trainee)” for Bokaro General Hospital and its Health Centres. Interested candidates may apply Online from the official website of SAIL within the prescribed date. Advt. No BSL/R/2012-03. Eligibility and other criteria in brief is given below—

1. Junior Staff Nurse (Trainee)—Grade S-3
No. of Posts: 31 Nos. (Gen-17; SC-3; ST-7; OBC-4). Out of them—1 post is for PWD (OH) candidate.

Qualification: B.Sc (Nursing) from an Institution recognised by Nursing Council of India
OR Higher Secondary (Class- 10+2) in discipline of Science with Diploma of 3 years in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from Govt. recognised Institute.
Candidates should valid registration in Nursing Council of India or State Nursing Council and must have one year Post Qualification experience in a hospital or Nursing home.

Age limit: Candidates should be within 28yrs as on 1/3/2012. Age relaxation for OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs; PWD—10yrs

Pay Scale: Rs.9160—Rs.13150 plus other allowances.
For the post of Jr. Staff Nurse (Trainee), the selected candidates will be under Training for a period of 2 years during which Consolidated pay will be Rs.8250 for the first year and Rs.9350 for the second year.
Successful candidates after the completion of training period will be regularized in S-3 grade.

Candidates will be selected through written Test and Interview. The syllabus and other information regarding examination is available on the website of SAIL.
The date and venue will be informed to the candidates through Admit Card. Admit Card will be available to download from dated 25/06/2012.

Before making online application candidates should print-out the “Pay-in-Slip” for depositing the Application fee. Application fee of Rs.250 is to be paid (Rs.50 in case of SC/ST candidates) by Pay-in-Slip through State Bank of India. Make the deposit in the specially opened account (SBI Power Jyoti A/c No. 31877168126 maintained by at SBI sector 4, B.S.City branch), on behalf of SAIL/Bokaro Steel Plant.
Pay-in-Slip is available in the official website of SAIL. Candidates should print-out the slip only from official website.
N.B: Candidates should pay Rs.20 extra as Bank Charges to the bank while making the fee deposit.


After making the Application fee, revisit the official website of SAIL to fill the online application form. Link to apply online is provided there.
After successful submission of Application form; system generated Registration Slip with unique registration No. will appear on the screen. Download and print-out the generated Registration slip and keep safely for future references.
During submitting application form candidates should mention their valid email id and should keep ready with themselves the scan copy of passport size photograph and Signature. There is no need to send any documents by post to the office address of SAIL. Original Pay-in-Slip, Print-out Registration Slip and other documents will be verified during Written Test/ Interview.
