Office of the District Judge cum District Recruitment Committee, Malda is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 38 posts of English Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk, Process Server, Group-D and Sweeper. OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT JUDGE CUM DISTRICT RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE, MALDA IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 38 POSTS OF ENGLISH STENOGRAPHER, LOWER DIVISION CLERK, PROCESS SERVER, GROUP D AND SWEEPER. LAST DATE — 18/06/2016

 

1. English Stenographer (Grade-III): 05 Nos. (UR-2; SC-1; OBC-2)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent pass and certificate in computer training plus satisfactory fingering speed on computer operation. Minimum 80 words per minute in Shorthand and minimum 30 words per minute in typewriting from a legal manuscript in English for 10 minutes along with certificate of Stenography & Typing.
Age Limit: Not less than 18yrs and not more than 40yrs as on 01/01/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.7100/- – Rs.37600/- and Grade Pay: Rs.3900/-

 

2. Lower Division Clerk (Group-C): 12 Nos. (UR-8; ST-1; SC-2; OBC A-1)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik pass and Certificate/Diploma in Computer Training and ability to type minimum 20 words per minute in English.
Age Limit: Not less than 18yrs and not more than 40yrs as on 01/01/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5400/- – Rs.25200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/-

 

3. Process Server: 04 Nos. (UR-2; ST-1; OBC A-1)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik pass.
Age Limit: Not less than 18yrs and not more than 40yrs as on 01/01/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5400 – Rs.25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2300/-

 

4. Group D (Class-IV): 14 Nos. (UR-8; SC-3; ST-1; OBC-2)
Educational Qualification: Class VIII pass.
Age Limit: Not less than 18yrs and not more than 40yrs as on 01/01/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.4900- Rs.16200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1700/-

 

5. Sweeper (Karmabandhu) (Group D): 03 Nos. (UR-2; SC-1)
Educational Qualification: Able to read and write Bengali.
Age Limit: Not less than 18yrs and not more than 40yrs as on 01/01/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.4900 – Rs.16200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1700/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. There will be Stenography and Computer typing test for the selected post.

The vacancies are for Judgeship of Malda, West Bengal and will be conducted by the District Recruitment Committee of Malda under the supervision of the Committee of Registrars of High Court of Calcutta.

The appointment will be initially made on purely temporary basis but is likely to be made permanent.

Application Fee: (i) For English Steno: Rs.400/- (Rs.200 for SC/ST), (ii) Lower Division Assistant: Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST), (iii) For Process Server: Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST) and (iv) for Group-D: Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- SC/ST) as Application Fee.
