1. SUB-OVERSEER GRADE-IV
No. of Vacancies: 149 Nos. (UR-78, UR-39, ST-10, OBC-27)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik Examination from the Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal or its equivalent.
Age Limit: Maximum-40 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400 – Rs.25200 and Grade Pay Rs.2100/-

2. DEPUTY MANAGER
No. of Vacancies: 26 Nos. (UR-14, SC-04, ST-01, OBC-07)
Educational Qualification: Honours Degree from a Recognized University or its equivalent OR A Degree from a Recognized University or its equivalent with 50% marks in degree examination.
Desirable: Passing the examination of ‘O’ Level in Computer Application approved by AICTE.
Age Limit: Maximum-37 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 -Rs.42,000 and Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates belonging to the reserved categories of state other than West Bengal, will be treated as General Candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Personality Test / Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.220/- (Rs.70/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) including Processing charge and Bank charge. as Application Fee. How to Apply & Last Date: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Municipal Service Commission, Kolkata Municipal Corporation — www.mscwb.org (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 07/08/2017 to 06/09/2017. Fee along with processing charges can be deposited to the bank by 07/09/2017 and final submission (after entering fee details) can be done till 08/09/2017

 

CORRIGENDUM: As per Addendum released by MSCWB, the last date for submission of online application to the post of Sub-Overseer (Gr.IV) is extended to 21/09/2017 from 06/09/2017. And Fee challan can be generated till 22/09/2017 and final submission (after entering fee details) can be made till 25/09/2017.  The other things will remain unchanged. See official link given below for addendum’s content and more details.

 

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
