LIC Housing Finance Ltd is recruiting 100 candidates for the post of “Assistant” for its offices located in different States. Eligible candidates may apply through online system from the official website of LIC-HFLtd (See below). Educational Qualification requirement and eligibility criteria in brief are given below —
Name of the Post: ASSISTANT
Number of Vacancies: 100 Nos. Vacancies are further distributed as Region wise and is as follows —
— Central Region: 15 posts.
— Eastern Region: 10 posts.
— Northern Region: 10 posts.
— South Central Region: 20 posts.
— South Eastern Region: 15 posts.
— Southern Region: 15 posts.
— Western Region: 15 posts.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Preference will be given to the candidates who have knowledge of computer operation.
Candidates may apply for vacancies against any one region only. Applying for multiple region will lead to cancellation of Application form.
Age: Not below 21yrs and not above 35yrs as on 01-02-2104.
Starting basic pay: Rs.7400/- per month and other admissible allowances as per rules.
Selection will be made on the basis of On-line test followed by an Interview of candidates who qualify in the On-line test. The candidates found successful in the Interview have to undergo Medical Examination.
On-line test will be of objective type. For syllabus and details, see the below given PDF file.
On-line test will be held at the various centres, tentatively on Sunday, 06.04.2014. Candidates from West Bengal (Eastern Region) may sit at ‘Kolkata’ centre.
How to Apply: Apply Online through the official website of LIC HFLtd — www.lichousing.com (See the live URL given below).
Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature. Please follow the instruction available on the website of LIC HFL on how to apply online.
After final step of online application, candidates shall submit the form by clicking the submit button. Upon successful submission, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out the Registration Slip and shall retain the same for future correspondence.
DO NOT SEND THE PRINT-OUT TO LIC HFL.
Application Fee: Candidates shall pay Application Fee of Rs.500/- (for all candidates). Candidates may pay the fee through online system during submission of Application form through Credit/ Debit card or NET banking OR candidates may choose to pay through bank transaction (offline mode through any branch of State Bank of India) by means of fee payment challan which will be generated automatically during submission of online application

At least LIC has kept same fees for all candidates. Our govt. is always biased to some caste system as part of their politics, it should not be caste wise, it should be in terms of family income. Also there are many fake people holding lower caste certificate as they are from any political background and also fake BPLs are there too. God knows when these things will stop and a non caste biased govt. will form, then only any chance that poverty will decrease as those people who has lower income (whatever caste) should only have a quota in jobs.
