India Post – Maharashtra Postal Circle, Mumbai, is inviting application for recruitment of 2426 “Postman”, “Mailguard” and “Multi Tasking Staff” in various Postal Division, Railway Mail Service Divisions and Administrative Offices of Maharashtra Circle (Maharashtra State & Goa State). MAHARASHTRA POSTAL CIRCLE INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 2426 POSTS OF POSTMAN, MAILGUARD AND MULTITASKING STAFF. LAST DATE – 18/02/2015

 

1. Postman: 1680 posts (UR—1050; SC—247; ST—218; OBC—165)
Qualification: Matriculation from recognized board.

2. Mail Guard: 21 posts. (UR—16; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board.

3. Multi Tasking Staff: 725 posts. (UR—451; SC—35; ST—50; OBC—189)
Qualification: Matriculation or ITI pass from a recognized board.

 

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 18.02.2015. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale:
For Postman & Mailguard: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000 plus other allowances as per norms.
For Multitasking Staff: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Examination Fee/ Application Fee: Rs.500/- for OBC and Other Caste (General) and Rs.100/- for SC/ST. PH and Women candidates. The fee is to be paid through Post Offices by means of system generated fee challan. See officially released advertisement for more details.
