Educational Qualification:
SSC/HSC or equivalent qualification and must have Degree/ Diploma or NAC/ ITI, wherever applicable (See Advt. in PDF given below) in respective trades. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Desirable Experience:
Work experience in the relevant trade/function in a Shipbuilding industry for minimum one year duly certified by their Personnel Department is desirable.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 33yrs as on 01-01-2015. Relaxation in upper age limit is 5 years for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates as per Rules. Additional relaxation of 10yrs will be given to PWD candidates.
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- & Rs.7575 for Skilled grade in first and second year respectively AND Rs.6000 & Rs.6060 for Semi-Skilled grade in the first and second year respectively. There will be other allowances beside basic pay.
Selection of the candidates will be through Interview and Trade Test. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course and such information will be available in the website of MDL on 06/02/2014 onwards.

Processing Fee: Rs.140/- (including bank charges) is to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India by using fee payment challan which can be print-out from the website of MDL.
SC/ST, PWD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of Processing fee.
