PRIMARY SCHOOLTEACHER
No. of Vacancies: 100 Nos. (UR-97, PWD-03 (Out of this 3 posts are for Nepali Primary School).
Educational Qualification: i) HSSLC with at least 50% marks (45% for ST/OBC/PWD) or Graduate and above with Two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognised University and approved by NCTE.
OR
HSSLC with at least 50% marks (45% for ST/OBC/PWD) or Graduate with Two years Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognised by RCI.
ii) Passed in MizoramTeacher EligibilityTest Paper-I (MTET-I).
iii) Working knowledge of Mizo language at least Middle School standard.
iv) For Nepali/ Gorkha Primary School, the candidates should possess Nepali as
one of the subjects either in HSLC or HSSLC level.
Computer Proficiency:
i) Basic Knowledge of Computer Application equivalent to Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) of National Institute of Electronics and InformationTechnology (NIELIT) or Diploma in Computer Application / Certificate in Computer Application from institutions recognised by Mizoram State Council of Technical Educationor such other courses of the level as determined by the Government from time to time.
ii) Course on Computer Concepts Plus (CCC+) or Expert Computer Course (ECC) under NIELIT, or
iii) “O” Level/ “A” Level/ “B” Level Courses under NIELIT or
iv) Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Electronics from Polytechnic Institutions or Institutions recognized under Govt.of Mizoram or Govt. of India, or
v) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Application /Information Technology/ Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India, or vi) Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/Information Technology/ Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-35 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale: For Trained Graduate PB-2 : Rs.9,300 – 34,800 and Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/- For Trained Under Graduate PB-2: Rs.9,300 – Rs.34,800 and Grade Pay Rs.4,200/-
