1. MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER
No. of Vacancies: 60 Nos. (UR-50, PWD-02)
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree and above with Two years Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduate degree and above with at least 50% marks and 1(one) year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognised University and approved by NCTE.
OR
B.Sc.(Science/Mathematics) and above with at least 50% marks with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or 1(one) year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognised University and approved by NCTE.
OR
Graduate with at least 50% marks with 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) or B.Ed.(Special Education) recognised by the RCI
ii) Passed in Mizoram Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II (MTET-II).
iii) Working knowledge of Mizo language at least Middle School standard.
iv) For Nepali/Gorkha Middle School, the candidates should possess Nepali as one of the subjects either in HSLC or HSSLC level.
Computer Proficiency:
Basic Knowledge of Computer Application equivalent to Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) of National Institute of Electronics
and Information Technology (NIELIT) or Diploma in Computer Application/ Certificate in Computer Application from institutions recognised by Mizoram
State Council of Technical Education or such other courses of the level as determined by the Government from time to time, namely:
i) Course on Computer Concepts Plus (CCC+) or Expert Computer Course (ECC) under NIELIT,or
ii) “O”/ “A”/ “B” Level Courses under NIELIT or
iv)Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application /Information Technology/ Electronics from Polytechnic Institutions or Institutions recognized under Govt.of Mizoramo Govt.of India, or
iii)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology/Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India,or
iv) Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology/Electronics from recognized University or Institutions recognized under Govt. of Mizoram or Govt. of India.
Note: 5% relaxation in marks for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class / Persons with Disabilities.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-35 years as on 20.12.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34,800 and Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.320/- (Rs.270/- SC/ST candidates) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through (uncrossed) Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Secretary, Mizoram Public Service Commission OR can be paid through Treasury Challan.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PWD CANDIDATES.
