1. CHIEF PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Medical qualification included in the 1st or 2nd schedule or part-2 of the 3rd schedule of Indian Medical Council ACT -1956 and registration as Medical practitioner in W. B.
Experience: Working Experience in the field of Public Health at least for 10 years.
Desirable: Any Degree or Diploma in Public Health related subject [DPH / MAE / MDH / MD
(Community Medicine or equivalent)] from any University / Institution recognized by Medical Council of India.
Age Limit: Maximum-40 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: RS.28,000 – Rs.52,000 and Grade Pay Rs.7,600/-
2. PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Medical qualification included in the 1st or 2nd schedule or part -2 of the 3rd schedule of Indian Medical Council ACT – 1956 and registration as Medical practitioner in W. B.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
