Total 415 vacancies. On the basis of the result of the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2018 the candidates will be selected for Army, Navy and Air Force services. NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY & NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION (I) 2018
Total No. of Vacancies: 415 Nos.
Academy wise vacancies:
(i) National Defence Academy: 360 posts (Army-208, Navy-60 and Air Force-92)
(ii) Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 55 posts
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th (10+2 ) Class pass or equivalent examination from recognized Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th (10+2 ) Class pass or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from recognized Board or a University.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 02.07.1999 and not later than 01.07.2002.
Physical Standards: Candidates must possess the minimum prescribed Physical Standards mentioned in the Official Advt.
Note: Candidates who have failed INSB/ PABT earlier are not eligible for Air Force.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, SSB Test/ Interview. Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 22.04.2018 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 141th Course, and for the 103rd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 02.01.2019. Examination will be held at various centers across India.
Candidates selected for Army, Navy and Air Force services will be on Training for a period of three (03) years at the National Defence Academy. Selected candidates of the Naval Academy will be on Training for a period of four (04) years at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST AND SONS OF PERSONS SERVING IN MILITARY/ ARMY / EX-SERVICEMEN.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
