ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (SCALE-I)

Number of vacancies as per Discipline wise are as follows —

1. Specialist Cadre: 170 posts. (Gen—85; SC—28; ST—18; OBC—39). Out of total 7 reserved for PWD.
— Finance: 60 posts.
— Legal: 60 posts.
— Automobile Engineering: 30 posts.
— Information Technology: 20 posts.

 

2. Generalist Cadre: 192 posts (Gen—104; SC—34; ST—4; OBC—50). Out of total 5 reserved for PWD.

 

Educational Qualification (As on 30.11.2014)

(i). For Generalist Stream: Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification.

(ii). For Specialist Stream —
— Finance: CA/ ICWA/ M.Com/ B.Com
— Automobile Engineering: BE/B.Tech in Automobile Engineering
— Informational Technology: BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ IT
— Legal: Graduate in Law

 

Age Limit: Minimum 21yrs and maximum 30yrs as on 30.11.2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Widow/Divorced women/legally separated women – 05yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Domicile of J&K—05yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.17,240—32640 plus other allowances as per norms. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

The selection of the candidates will be through Online Examination and Interview. The online examination may held in April 2015.

Examination will be conducted at various centres across the country. In West Bengal, the examination centre will be at Kolkata/ Greater Kolkata, Siliguri and Asansol.

Application Fee: Rs.600/- including intimation charges is to be paid in through Online mode during submission of online Application form by means of Credit/Debit card or Internet banking.

SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from Application Fee. Such candidates shall pay Rs.50/- only as intimation charges.

 

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and shall retain the same safely for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/ DOCUMENTS TO THE NICL AT THIS STAGE.
