National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla, Pune is recruiting 178 posts of Chemical Assistant, Games Coach, Lower Division Clerk, Draughtsman, Compositor Cum-Printer, Fireman, Cook, Carpenter, Civilian Motor Driver, Baker & Confectioner, Cycle Repairer, Boot Repairer and Multi Tasking-Office & Training . Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies shall submit their application form on prescribed format. Education Qualification norms and brief details are given below:-

 

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA) REQUIRES 178 LDC, DRAUGHTSMAN, FIREMAN, DRIVER, MTS AND ETC. LAST DATE – 26/09/2014 (3.10.2014)

1. Chemical Assistant (Museum & Archives): 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: B.Sc degree with Chemistry and 5 Yrs Experience in Chemistry Laboratory/Museum/Archives. Candidates shall have knowledge of store keeping.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 2800/-PM.
Age Limit: 18 to 30. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

2. Games Coach (Tennis or Squash): 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: Degree and 3 yrs experience from a recognized organization/ undertaking in the field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-PM.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

3. Lower Division Clerk: 21 Nos. (13-UR, 2 – ST, 6 – OBC, PH – 3 & 3 – Ex-S)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th Pass and should have typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 27. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

4. Draughtsman: 1 Nos. (1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass and 2 yrs Diploma in Draughtsmanship OR ITI Certificate in Draughtsman & 2 yrs experience in same field from recognized organization.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 27. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

5. Compositor cum-Printer: 1 Nos. (1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass and 2 yrs experience in same trade from a recognized organization.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to 20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 25. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

6. Fireman: 3 Nos. (1 SC, 2 OBC & 1 Ex-S)
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass and must have driving license & 6 months certificate in maintenance of first aid, firefighting appliance and Trailer fire pumps from a recognized organization.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 27. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

7. Cook: 14 Nos. (7 UR, 7 OBC, 2 PH & 1 Ex-s)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass and 2 yrs experience in the same trade Or ITI certificate in Cook.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 25. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

8. Carpenter: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass and 2yrs experience in the same trade OR ITI certificate in carpenter.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 25. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

9. Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade): 2 Nos. (1 UR, 1 OBC & Ex-s 1)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass and must have driving license of heavy vehicle & 2 yrs experience from a recognized organization.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1900/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 27. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

10. Technical Attendant-Baker & Confectioner: 1 Nos. (1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass OR ITI Certificate in Baker & Confectioner and 1 yr experience in same trade from a recognized Organization.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1800/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 25. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

11. Technical Attendant- Cycle Repairer: 1 Nos. (1 OBC)
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass OR ITI Certificate in Cycle Repairer and 1 yr experience in same trade from a recognized Organization.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1800/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 25. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

12. Technical Attendant- Book Repairer: 1 Nos. (1 UR)
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass OR ITI certificate in Book Repairer and 1 yr experience in same trade from a recognized organization.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1800/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 27. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

13. Multi Tasking Staff- Office & Training: 130 Nos. (76 UR, 54 OBC, 15 PH & 11 Ex-S)
Educational Qualification: 10th/ Matric Pass from a recognized Board/ Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200/- PM and Grade Pay: Rs. 1800/-PM.
Age limit: 18 to 27. The upper age limit is relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman/Others -as per govt. norms.

 

MODE OF SELECTION:
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Trade Test and Interview. Date, Time, Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
