Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 05 posts of District Project Officer and Project Assistant. The posts are for West Bengal and it’s four district under the project “Involvement of Youth in Namami Gange Programme” supported by National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. of India. Candidates selected for the post will be on contractual basis Initially for three months extendable to another 9 months and subsequently to 2nd and 3rd year (depending upon performance and availability of funds). DISTRICT PROJECT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.

District wise vacancies:

i) Burdwan-01 post.
ii) Murshidabad-01 post
iii) 24 Paragnas (South)-01 post
iv) Hooghly- 01 post

Educational Qualification: Masters degree in Social work (MSW), Social Sciences from recognized university.
Candidates must have Good command over English & Hindi.
Experience: i) Minimum two years working experience on education and awareness generation programmes on cleanliness drive, water bodies, prevention of pollution of Water bodies (Preferably in River Ganga) & sanitation, Swachh Bharat Mission, motivating people for construction of toilets in their homes & behavior change communication etc. or similar social work experience.
ii) Good Working knowledge of MS office & internet.
iii) Strong management, liaison, documentation & communication skills.
Age Limit: Minimum-20 years and maximum-30 years as on 01.01.2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.

 

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Kolkata-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in Commerce/ Arts/ Science with additional training in Secretarial Skills, including computer based applications.
Experience:

i) Three years working experience in comparable position.
ii) Organisational abilities.
iii) Proven typing and drafting abilities in English.
iv) Proven Computer Skills, preferably in windows based applications and internet.
v) Good writing and understanding of English & Hindi.

Age Limit: Minimum-20 years and maximum-30 years as on 01.01.2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 10,000/- per month.

 

Note: Preference will be given to local candidates with brilliant academic record & experience in relevant field.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written test, Typing test and Personal Interview.
