National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), New Delhi, is inviting application from eligible candidates for the posts of STENOGRAPHER and STAFF CAR DRIVER on direct recruitment basis. 1. STENOGRAPHER GRADE – D
Number of Vacancies: 11 Nos. [UR-3, OBC-4, SC-3, ST-1 & VH-1 (Person with low vision)]
Educational Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent and Speed of 80 words per minute in Shorthand (English/ Hindi)
Desirable—Degree from recognized university.
Age: Maximum 27yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-
2. STAFF CAR DRIVER
Number of Vacancies: 2 Nos. (UR—1; SC—1)
Essential Qualification: Candidates should possess a valid driving license for motorcars and knowledge of motor mechanism. Candidates should have minimum 5yrs experience of driving motor car.
Desirable—Class 8 pass.
Age: between 23 and 30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Upper age relaxation: The age prescribed above will be counted as on 15.11.2014. Age relaxation as applicable under rules shall be available to the SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: The post of Stenographer, the selection will be through Written Examination and Skill test in Stenography. For the post of Staff Car Driver the selection will be through Driving test followed by Interview. For syllabus and selection norms, see the PDF file given below.
The examination will be conducted in Delhi only. Date of examination shall be intimated to the eligible candidates separately
Application Fee: Rs.100/- in form of Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of “NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION”.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ ST AND PH CANDIDATES.
