National Institute of Research on Jute & Allied Fibre Technology (NIRJAFT), Kolkata, is recruiting eligible candidates for filling up of Technical posts at NIRJAFT, Kolkata under the Administrative control of ICAR. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
1. T-3 (Laboratory Technician): 2 Nos. (Unreserved)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Textile/ Jute/ Fibre Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable—Proficiency in Computer Application, C++, Java or some knowledge in wet processing of fibrous materials is desirable.
Age: 18yrs to 30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-
2. T-3 (Laboratory Technician): 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture OR Mechanical/ Production Engineering
Desirable—Experience in machine design and manufacture or knowledge in CAD is desirable.
Age: 18 – 33yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-
3. T-1 (Laboratory Technician): 1 Nos. (Unreserved)
Qualification: Matriculation/ Class X pass with at least one year certificate/ diploma in carpenter trade from a Govt. recognized institute.
Desirable—Experience in making/preparing moulds/ patterns or experience in working with fibre reinforced plastic/ particle board or working knowledge of computer is desirable.
Age: 18y—30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-
Upper age relaxation: Age mentioned above will be counted as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others – As per norms.
