North Western Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 21 Group ‘C’ posts against Sports Quota vacancies. GROUP “C” RECRUITMENT IN PAY BAND-I RS.5200 – RS.20200 AND GRADE PAY RS.2400/2800

Name of the Sports and No. of vacancies: 05 posts

1. Archery: 02 (Women)
2. Power lifting: 01 (Women)
3. Shooting: 02 (Men)

Educational Qualification: Graduate pass

Sports Eligibility Norms: Candidates should have represented the Country in Olympic Games (senior category) OR Obtained at least 3rd position by representing the country in the World cup (Junior/Senior) world Championships (Junior/Senior)/Asian Games (senior)/Commonwealth Games (senior), except Gold Medal in Asian Games

 

GROUP “C” RECRUITMENT IN PAY BAND-I RS.5200 – RS.20200 AND GRADE PAY RS.1900/2000

1. Athletics: 05 (Men-04; Women-1)
2. Boxing: 03 (Men-02; Women-1)
3. Cross Country: 01 (Women)
4. Power lifting: 02 (Men-01; Women-01)
5. Wresting: 05 (Men-03; Women)

Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent

Sport Eligibility Norms: Candidates should have represent the country in the Worlds cups (Junior/ Senior), Worlds Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Games (senior) & Common wealth Games (Senior).
OR Represented the country and obtained at least 3rd position in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior)Asian Championship. /Asian Cup (Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior), USIC (world Railways) Championship (Senior Category).
OR Represented a State or equivalent unit and obtained at least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships.
OR Represented a Sate and obtained at least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association.
OR Represented a University and obtained at least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR Obtained 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 01.01.2017.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be based on their achievements in relevant sports, Educational Qualification, General Intelligence, Personality, Game Skills, Physical Fitness and Interview.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST/Women/Minorities and Economic Backward Class) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft / IPO drawn in favour of North Western Railway Sports Association, payable at Jaipur/G.P.O. Jaipur.

Candidates applying for more than one game/event shall submit separate application with separate DD/IPO as fee and documents for each event.

The envelope containing the print-out/enclosures should be superscribed on top with — “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2016-17”
