Scouts and Guides Quota
1. LEVEL-2
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Division wise vacancies:
i) Over North Western Railways: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (50% marks are not required for SC/ST/EX-SM or where the candidates possess higher qualification i.e Graduation/ Post Graduation etc from a Recognized University).
Age Limit: Minimum- 18 years and maximum-28 years as on 01/07/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
2. LEVEL-1
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos.
Division wise vacancies:
i) Jaipur: 02 posts
ii) Ajmer: 02 posts
iii) jodhpur & Bakiner: 02 posts
iv) Division of North Western Railways: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT/ SCVT at the time of applying.
Age Limit: Minimum- 18 years and maximum-31 years as on 01/07/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Scouts and Guides Qualifications:
i) A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any Section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last five years i.e.2012-13 onwards.
iii) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railways Level AND Two events at State Level.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/ Skill Assessment/Document verification.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/EXSM/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward/ PWD) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railways Recruitment Cell, North Western Railways, payable at Jaipur. Candidates must write their Name, full address at the space provide in the IPO.
