Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 24 Trade Apprentices posts in the following trade— Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Pump Operator cum mechanic, Machinist and Welders. NUCLEAR POWER CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 24 POSTS OF TRADE APPRENTICES IN THE FOLLOWING TRADE FITTER, ELECTRICIAN, ELECTRONICS MECHANIC, INSTRUMENT MECHANIC, PUMP OPERATOR CUM MECHANIC, MACHINIST AND WELDERS. LAST DATE — 23/01/2017

 

1. TRADE APPRENTICES

No. of Vacancies: 24 Nos. (Gen-12, OBC-06, ST-02, SC-04)

Trade wise vacancies:

1.Fitter

2. Electrician

3. Electronics Mechanic

4. Instrument Mechanic

5. Pump Operator cum mechanic

6. Machinist

7. Welders

 

Educational Qualification: ITI in respective Trade.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-16 years and maximum-22 years as on 01/01/2017.

 

Consolidated Pay: Rs.7200/- per month.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 137 cm; Chest (expanded) — 3.8 cm; Weight — 45 kgs

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Interview. Interview will be held at Kalpakkam, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu.

Note: Candidates selected for the post will be on training period of one year at Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam 603102, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu.
