CONSTABLES IN 9TH INDIA RESERVE BATTALION (SPECIALISED) OF ODISHA POLICE (MALE CANDIDATES ONLY)

No. of Vacancies: 521 Nos. (UR-261, SEBC-58, SC-85, ST-117)

 

Educational Qualification: High School Certificate examination or equivalent examination.

Candidates should be able to Speak, Read and Write Odia and must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certficate Examination or an examination in Odia Language equivalent to M.E Standard

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-23 years as on 01/01/2016

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 168 cm (163 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 79 cm (76 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 84 cm (81 cm for ST); Weight — 55kg

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Driving Test, Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test. Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test will be held on 16/01/2017.

NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC, ST CANDIDATES.
