ODISHA CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION 2017
Total vacancies – 106 Posts.
The vacancies are in different Services of Odisha namely –
Odisha Administrative Service – 36 Nos.
Odisha Police Service – 09 Nos.
Odisha Finance Service – 24 Nos.
Odisha Co-Operative Service – 03 Nos.
Odisha Revenue Service – 20 Nos.
Odisha Taxation Accounts Service. – 14 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from any University.
Candidates must able to read, write and speak Odia and have studies Odia as a language Subject.
Candidates who have appeared in the OCSE-2015 and OCSE-2016 will be given one chance i.e. extra compensatory attempt in the OCSE-2017 irrespective of their age.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and under 32 years as on 01/01/2017.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality Test or Interview.
Preliminary Examination and Main Examination will be held at five Zonal Centre of the State – Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) — www.opsconline.gov.in

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.300/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. See officially released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST OF ODISHA, PWD CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
