Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is inviting Online Application form for the recruitment of 118 Junior Assistant in the Offices of Heads of Department. Eligible candidates may submit their application through online mode only from the official website of OSSC (link given below). Advertisement No.IIE-05/2013 – 1983/ OSSC, dated – 23.07.2013. Qualification norms and brief details are as follows —
JUNIOR ASSISTANT
Number of Vacancies: 118 (Gen—33; SC—19; ST—39; SEBC—27). Out of total – 6 Nos. for PH candidates and 2 Nos. for Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualification: 10+2 in any discipline with Odia as one of the Subjects in the HSC or Matriculation level. See the below given Advt. link for details.
Age Limit: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.100/-. Fee can be paid through online mode during submission of online Application form or can be paid Offline by means of Treasury challan.
SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from paying Application Fee.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Selection of the candidates will be in three stages. Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination and Practical Skill Test (Basic computer test).
Eligible candidates will be issued online Admit card which can be downloaded from the commission’s website. Exact date and time of selection steps will be intimated through Admit card.

After successful submission of online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Application form which will appear on the computer screen along with unique Registration number and password.
One copy of the print-out Registration slip along with attested copies of testimonials in support of eligibility, such as Qualification certificate, Caste certificate, age proof and etc, is to be sent at the commission’s office (Address given below) by Speed post/ Registered post.
