Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Hazira Plant is recruiting 138 candidates for the post of – Assistant Technician, Junior Assistant Technician and Health Care Attendant Gd-I. Advertisement No.1/2014. The selection of the candidates will be through Written test and Interview. A-II LEVEL POSTS.
1. Assistant Technician (Production): 9 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical/Petroleum Engineering.

2. Assistant Technician (Mechanical): 25 Nos.
Qualification: years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

3. Assistant Technician (Electrical): 22 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering and should have Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor.

4. Assistant Technician (Instrumentation): 4 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering

5. TA Gd.III (Chemistry): 12 Nos.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry.

6. Assistant Technician (Electronics): 3 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom /E&T Engineering (or) M.Sc in Physics with Electronics.

7. Assistant Technician (Boiler): 21 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate.

8. Assistant Technician (Civil): 1 Nos.
Qualification: 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering.

A – I LEVEL POSTS
9. Junior Assistant Technician (Boiler): 28 Nos.
Qualification: High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science , with minimum II class Boiler Attendants‟ (Oil/Gas Fired) Certificate.

10. Junior Assistant Technician (Electrical): 10 Nos.
Qualification: High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, & Trade Certificate in Electrical Trade. Should have Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor.

11. Junior Assistant Technician (Production): 2 Nos.
Qualification: Matric with Science and Trade Certificate in Fitting or Mechanic Trade. The trades in respect of Mechanic are : Diesel / Instrumentation / Turner /Machining /Tractor/ Motor Vehicle/Welding/ Black Smithy / Boiler Attendant and Machinist Grinder.

W – I LEVEL POSTS
12. Health Care Attendant Gd.I: 1 Nos.
Qualification: High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with First Aid certificate from statutory body/ Institute like St. John’s Ambulance or Red Cross Society etc. Six months experience as Technician in ECG/CSSD/Plaster/ Anaesthesia is desirable for this post.

Note: Candidates should have acquired the above prescribed qualification as a regular candidate.

Note: The candidate should possess a valid registration certificate from any of the Employment Exchanges located in the State of Gujarat.

AGE LIMIT
For A-1 and A-2 level posts: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 30 years.
For W-1 level posts: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 40 years.
Age will be counted as on 22/08/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

PAY SCALE
For A-2 Level: Rs.12000/- to Rs.27000/-
For A-1 Level: Rs.11000/- to Rs.24000/-
For W-1 Level: Rs.10000/- to Rs.18000/-

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. The candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for interview as per the criteria decided by the Management.
The written test is tentatively schedule on 28.09.2014. (The exact date of the test will be available on ONGC’s website — www.ongcindia.com)
The Written test is scheduled to be conducted tentatively in following three cities of Gujarat State, viz. Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat.

Registration Fee: Candidates willing to apply shall pay Registration Fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100 for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Servicemen candidates) by means of Fee payment challan through any branches of State Bank of India. Fee challan can be downloaded from the ONGC’s website.

Upon successful submission of Online Application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it. Candidates should retain their Challan and Registration Slip safely for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY DOCUMENTS/PRINT-OUT TO ONGC.
