District Health and Family Welfare Samity, Darjeeling is recruiting 5 Nos. Para Medicial Worker for National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP) on contract basis in the four blocks of Siliguri sub-division namely Naxalbari, Matigara, Kharibari and Phansidewa and in Siliguri Municipal Corporation area. Education qualification norms and brief details are given below —
Name of the Post: Para Medical Worker (for NLEP)
Number of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary pass and Certificate of Para Medical Worker (PMW) training OR MSW/ B.Sc with 03yrs experience in the field of Health.
Candidates must have working knowledge of computers.
Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in Leprosy and/or are resident of the Block/ Municipality.
Remuneration: Rs.16000/- per month
Age Limit: Upto 40 years as on 20/12/2013.
Relaxation of age will be given to the SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Govt. norms.
