The Punjab State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd , Punjab MARKFED is recruiting 255 persons for the various posts, such as – Officers, Auditor, Accountant, Steno Typists and etc. interested and eligible candidates may apply on the prescribed application format within the last date. The eligibility norm and criteria is given below in brief—
1. Technical Officer: 4 Nos. (SC—3; Ex-Serv—1)
Qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture) Ist Division plus M.Sc. (Agriculture) Ist Division with specialization in Entomology /Plant Pathology/ Food Technology with two years experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5000
2. Sr.Branch Officer: 8 posts. (Gen—2; SC—2; BC—1; Ex-Serv—2; PH—1)
Qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture) Ist Division and M.Sc. in Agronomy/Extension Education/Agril. Economics/Soil/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology/Agri Business/Plant Breeding / Genetics.
OR
B.Sc.(Agriculture) Ist Division with MBA.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 5000/-
3. Field Officer (Preservation): 20 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—1; BC—1; Ex-Serv.—5; PH—2; Sportsperson-SC—1)
Qualification: B.Sc in Agriculture with first division.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.3800/-
4. Field Officer (General): 63 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—5; BC—3; PH—5; Sportsperson—5)
Qualification: B.Sc in Agriculture with 50% marks.
Pay Scale: 10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.3800/-
5. Assistant Sales Officer: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; Ex-Serv.—2)
Qualification: Graduate with 2nd Division and One year Diploma in Marketing from a recognized University
OR
MBA with specialization in Marketing
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.3800/-
6. Assistant Field Officer: 90 Nos. (Gen—35; SC—22; Ex-Serv.—15; PH—4; Sportsperson—3)
Qualification: B.Sc in Agriculture with first division.
Pay scale: Rs. 5910-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
7. Assistant Accountant: 22 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—11; BC—2; Ex-Serv.—6; PH—1; Sportsperson—1)
Qualification: B.Com. (Ist Division) with One year Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications(Excel,Data Management and MS-Office) recognized by Board of Technical Education Punjab or any recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300—34800 and Grade pay—Rs.3800
8. Steno Typist: 22 Nos. (Gen—11; SC—5; BC—2; Ex-Serv.—3; PH—1)
Qualification: Graduate with 2nd Division and must have proficiency in Punjabi Stenography at the speed of 80 w.p.m. and to transcribe at a speed of 15 w.p.m. and proficiency in English Stenography at the speed of 60 WPM and to transcribe at a speed of 15 wpm.
Candidates must have computer course certificate
Pay scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.3200/-
N.B: For all the above mentioned posts, candidates must have studied Punjabi or possess knowledge of Punjabi of Matriculation standard and Candidates should have knowledge in computer application like M.S. Office ( MS Word, MS Excel, etc)

Age limits (For all posts): Candidates should be between 18yrs to 37yrs as on 1/1/2012. Age relaxation is 5yrs for SC/ST/BC and 10yrs for PH. Ex-Serviceman and sportsperson—as per norms.
Selection Steps: For all the above posts (except Steno-typist) candidates will be selected through Written examination only and there will be no Interview.
The written examination will be of 100 Nos. Objective Multiple choice types question on following subjects — (i) Language Proficiency (Punjabi- 10 question + English -10 question) 20 questions, (ii) General Knowledge / awareness – 20 questions, (iii) Mathematical Skill( Matric level) – 10 questions, (iv) Mental Ability/ IQ determination- 10 questions and (v) questions as per prescribed qualification for respective post—40 question.
For the post of Steno Typist, stenography test on the prescribed speed will be conducted instead of written examination.
Examination will be held at Chandigarh.
Application Fee: Candidates should prepare a Crossed Bank Draft / Pay Order or Banker Cheque of Rs.700 (Rs.350 for SC/ST candidates) in favour of — The Punjab State Cooperative Supply & Marketing Federation Limited payable at Chandigarh. Write name and address on the reverse side of Bank Draft/B.Cheque or Pay Order.
Ex-Serviceman of Punjab states do not need to pay Application fee.
