Prasar Bharati (PB) is recruiting young and skilled personnel for the post of Engineering Assistant and Technician in different offices in the Country. Total vacancies: 1630 Nos. The recruitment process will be carried by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) through Prasar Bharati Examination-2013. Eligible candidates may apply Online. 1. Engineering Assistant: 1290 Nos. (Gen—659; SC—201; ST—135; OBC—295; PWD—37)

Qualification: Three years Diploma in Radio /Telecommunication /Electrical /Electronics/
Information Technology /Electronics and Communication Engineering and One year experience in related field.
OR
Degree with Physics as one of the subjects and One year experience in related field

Degree in Telecommunication/Electronics/Electrical/Information Technology/
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Desirable: Knowledge of Wireless Radio Engineering is desirable.
Age Limits: Maximum 30yrs as on 01-01-2013.
2. Technician: 340 Nos. (Gen—181; SC—54; ST—34; OBC—71; PWD—7; Ex-serviceman: 35)

Qualification: 10+2 and Diploma of 2yrs duration course in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 01-01-2013.
Upper age relaxation is as per norms. For SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PWD—10yrs; Ex- Serviceman and Others—as per Govt. norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination which will be of Objective type and Descriptive Type. Refer the officially released advertisement for details. Official link given below.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Application Fee of Rs. 200/- only through State Bank of India either in the form of Fee Challan or through Net Banking. Fee challan will be generated automatically after successful registration of Part-I. Candidates opting to fee pay fee online can make it during registration.
SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/ PWD and women candidates are not required to pay Application Fee.
Candidates should note down their Registration Number which will generate automatically during Part-I registration. In Part-II registration, candidates will require to upload scan passport size photograph and signature. For details, please visit the below given link.
