Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Andhra Pradesh, is recruiting 7100 candidates for the posts of Principal, Post Graduate Teacher and Trained Graduate Teachers for 355 Model Schools identified Educationally Backward Mandals in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Post: Principal
No. of Posts: 355 Nos. (Vacancies were zone wise and school wise)
Qualification: Two year Integrated Post Graduate course from Regional institute of Education of NCERT or Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks from recognised universities. Plus B.Ed or its equivalent and must have studied in English Medium at any three levels of school/ Junior College/ Degree College / Post Graduation.
Experience in respective field in required. Computer knowledge is desirable.
Age limit: between 35yrs and 50yrs as on 1/7/2012.
Pay Scale: RS.20680—Rs.46960
Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
No. of Posts: 4615 Nos.
Qualification: Two year Integrated Post Graduate course from Regional institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the respective subjects. And B.Ed or its equivalent qualification and must have studied in English Medium at any two levels of School/Junior College/ Degree College/ Post Graduation except for the post of PGT (Telugu).
Computer knowledge is desirable.
Age limit: within 39yrs of age as on 1/7/2012.
Pay Scale: Rs.16150—Rs.42590
Post: Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
No. of Posts: 2130 Nos.
Qualification: Four year Integrated degree course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Second Class Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) and in aggregate including electives and Languages in the combination of subjects as under (Please refer the Advt. found on official site of RMSA)
Candidates should have studied in English Medium at any two levels of School/ Junior College/ Degree College except for the post of TGT (Telugu) and TGT (Hindi).
And must have passed A.P. TET Paper-II or its equivalent.
Computer knowledge is desirable.
Age limit: within 39 years of age as on 1/7/2012.
Pay Scale: RS.14860—Rs.39540
Age relaxation for BC/SC/ST-5yrs, PH-10yrs and others—as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: For the post of Principal, candidates will be selected through Written Test and Interview carried by State Selection Committee. Total marks will be 100, out of which 85% for Written Test and 15% for Interview.
For the post of PGT, the total marks will be 100 for Written Test (PGT Recruitment Test)
For the post of TGT, the total marks will be 100 out of which 80% for Written Test (TGT Recruitment Test) and 20% for A.P. TET (Paper II) or its equivalent.
The question paper will be in English except for the Telugu and Hindi subjects.
