Canara Bank is recruiting 2000 boys and girls for the post of “Probationary Clerk”. Candidates who have qualified the Common Written Examination for Clerk—2011-12 conducted by IBPS and have valid Score Card issued by IBPS may apply for the post. Educational Qualification: Madhyamik/SSC (Old pattern) with 60% marks in aggregate (Pass mark in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Serv.)
OR

OR
Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
Essential qualification— Passed Common Written Examination for Clerk—2011-12 conducted by IBPS and must be holding valid IBPS’s Score card.
Candidates should have proficiency in Official language of the State/UT for which he/she applied.

Age: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/8/2012. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PH—10yrs; Widow/ divorced women/ legally separated women—9yrs and Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.7200—Rs.19300.

Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected on basis of performance in CWE, Group Discussion and Interview.
Selected candidates will be on Probation for period of Six months.

Application fee: Rs.100 (Rs.50 for SC/ST and PWD candidates). Print-out the Fee Challan from the bank’s website and deposit through any branch of Canara Bank or by NEFT from any other Bank.
