Canara Bank is recruiting 2000 boys and girls for the post of “Probationary Clerk”. Candidates who have qualified the Common Written Examination for Clerk—2011-12 conducted by IBPS and have valid Score Card issued by IBPS may apply for the post. Application can be made Online from the official site of Canara Bank. Eligibility and Other criteria is given below in brief—

Educational Qualification: Madhyamik/SSC (Old pattern) with 60% marks in aggregate (Pass mark in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Serv.)
OR

OR
Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
Essential qualification— Passed Common Written Examination for Clerk—2011-12 conducted by IBPS and must be holding valid IBPS’s Score card.
Candidates should have proficiency in Official language of the State/UT for which he/she applied.

Age: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/8/2012. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PH—10yrs; Widow/ divorced women/ legally separated women—9yrs and Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.7200—Rs.19300.

Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected on basis of performance in CWE, Group Discussion and Interview.
Selected candidates will be on Probation for period of Six months.

Application fee: Rs.100 (Rs.50 for SC/ST and PWD candidates). Print-out the Fee Challan from the bank’s website and deposit through any branch of Canara Bank or by NEFT from any other Bank.

After successful submission of Online Application, print-out the system generated application form and retain safely for future correspondence.


N.B: Do not send the Print-out application, Fee receipt and any other documents to the Bank. All the documents and testimonials in Original will need to produce during Interview, if called.

Starting date of making Online Application & Fee deposit: 18th June 2012.
Last date of making Online Application: 1st June 2012.
