Probationary Officer in Allahabad Bank- 1600 Boys and Girls as PO in Allahabad Bank.

Allahabad Bank, as per Advt.No.REC/01/2012-13, is recruiting 1600 boys and girls for the post of “Probationary Officers”.  Candidates who have appeared Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai in 2011-12 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS may apply for the post. Details below—

Post: Probationary Officer (JMG Scale-I)

Vacancies: 1600 Nos. (Gen-800; OBC-432; SC-240; ST-128) out of them 98nos. for PH candidates.

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University/Institution. AND Working knowledge in Computer Operation with Certificate /Diploma /Degree in Computer operations/Language OR Studied Computer /Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/Colleges/Institutes
Essential Requirements: Minimum Total Weighted Standard Score (as mentioned in the IBPS Score Card) obtained in the Common Written Examination for Pos /MTs 2011-12. FOR GENERAL : 125, FOR OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PWD : 112
NOTE: Candidates should also secure minimum marks, i.e. 24 for General category and 21 for Reserved categories, in each subject including descriptive test in C.W.E.

Age:  Minimum 20yrs and maximum 30yrs as on 1/7/2011. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs, PH-10yrs and others- as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.14500—Rs.25700

Candidates’ selection: On basis of marks obtained in IBPS and merits, candidates will be called for Group discussion and Interview.

How to apply: Candidates are required to apply On-Line through official website of Allahabad Bank’s—http://www.allahabadbank.in
Application fee of Rs.200 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PH candidates) have to be deposit through fee challan in any branch of Allahabad Bank. Application fee challan can be downloaded from the bank’s website. Candidates, if wish, can pay the application fee through online system too.

After submitting the online application form, a computer generated Registration slip with Unique Registration No. and Password will appear. Candidates should make atleast 2nos. print-out copy of this for further reference.
Candidates do not required to send any document to the Bank’s address by post. All the original documents along with attested copies will require to produces during Group Discussion/Interview only. The password provided to the candidates can be used to login later for making any modification in the application form, if wish, therefore it should be note down carefully. The original copy of fee challan and print-out application should be kept safely as this will require during Interview.

Last date: Online application form can be submitted till 10th March 2012 and candidates, if wish, can modify/edit the submitted form till 14th March 2012.
