Canara Bank is recruiting 2000 Boys and Girls for the post of “Probationary Officer” in Junior Management Grade Scale-I. Graduate candidates who have valid score card issued by IBPS may apply. Details below—

Probationary Officer (JMGS-I): 2000 Nos. (Gen-1000, OBC-545, SC-303, ST-152) out of which PH—81 Nos.

Qualification: Graduation, in any discipline, with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH) and with a valid Common Written Examination-PO/MT-2011-12 score card issued by IBPS.
Computer knowledge is essential but if any candidates do not have computer knowledge then they should acquire it within 6 months from the date of joining the Bank.

Age: Candidates should be within 21yrs to 30yrs of age as on 1/7/2011. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs and PH-10yrs. Ex-serviceman—as per norms.

Pay Scale: 14500—Rs.25700

Candidates selection: Candidates will be selected on basis of marks obtained in IBPS. Selected candidates will be call for Group Discussion and Interview. Candidates acquiring 50% marks in Group Discussion and Interview will be qualified. Date and venue of Interview will be informed later to the candidates.

How to Apply: Apply online from the official site of Canara Bank within 15th February 2012. Candidate should have their own valid email id. Before applying online, deposit the exam fee of Rs.100 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PH candidates) from any CBS branch of Canara Bank. Fee challan can be print-out from the Bank’s website.
After depositing the exam fee, visit the Canara Bank’s website and fill the online form. Finally click the “submit” button and your application will be successfully submitted. After submitting the online application form, computer generated application form will appear with Registration Number and Password. Make print-out copy of this and keep safely for records.
There is no need to send any documents by post. All the original and Xerox copies of the documents, such as – qualification certificate, fee challan, age proof and etc, will require to produce during Group Discussion/ Interview.
