Central Bank of India is recruiting 1000 Nos. Boys and Girls for the post of “Probationary Officer” in JMGScale-I. Application is to be made Online. Candidates who have valid Score card issued by IBPS for Common Written Examination-2011 for the recruitment purpose of Probationary Officers. The vacancies include the backlog reserved vacancies for SC/ST/OBC and PWD. Details below—


Probationary Officer: 1000 Nos. (Gen-418; OBC- 223; SC-124; ST-235), Out of total- 30 Nos. for PWD candidates.
JMG Scale-I, Post Code-01

Qualification: Degree in any discipline. Candidates must have valid Score card issued by IBPS for Common Written Examination 2011.
Candidates should have done Computer course (Computer Awareness & Office Automation) of minimum 60 hours duration from reputed computer training centre. Not required for candidates who have studied computer in their Graduation.
IBPS Score obtained in Common Written Examination—
For the Tests—Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge and Descriptive Paper on English: 24 & above for General Candidates and 21 & above for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates.
Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS):- Minimum 160 for General candidates, 155 for OBC, 150 for SC and 130 for ST candidates.
N.B: Candidates should have posses the above mentioned educational qualification on or before 1/7/2011.

Age: between 20yrs to 30yrs as on 1/7/2011. Age relaxation— OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs, PWD- 10yrs and Others- as per norms.

Selection Steps: On basis of performance in the Written Test conducted by IBPS and total weighted score obtained; a short-list of candidates will be prepared. The short listed candidates will be then called for Interview which will be of 50 marks. Securing 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) will be taken as qualified.

How to Apply: Apply online only from official website of Central Bank of India — http://www.centralbankofindia.co.in. Visit the website and click the link named “Career”. Full Advt. and information can be found there.
Application Fee: Before applying online, candidates should deposit the Application fee of Rs.250 (Rs.50 for SC/ST and PWD candidates). Application fee should be made through ‘Recruitment Application Fee Payment Challan’. Fee Payment challan is available on the above mentioned official website of Central Bank of India. Deposit the fee in any branch of Central Bank of India.

Now after depositing the application fee, revisit the bank’s website and submit the online application form without making or providing false information.
After successful submission of online application; a system generated application with unique Registration No. will appear on the computer screen and Password will be provided. Memorize or note down it. Candidates should print-out this system generated application and keep safely along with original fee payment challan receipt.
Mention valid e-mail id during registration and do not submit more than one application.

There is no need to send any documents or print-out application to the bank’s office address. All the original documents and copies, fee receipt and print-out application will have to produce when called for Interview.

Date of Interview: Date and Venue of Interview will announce officially through the website of the Bank in due course. Candidates who have applied should regularly visit the bank’s website to track the status of their application and for any new official announcement.
