1. AGRICULTURAL MARKETING OFFICER (TRAINING & CANNING)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: A degree in Food Technology/Food Technology and Biochemical engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognised University/Institute OR B.Sc. degree from a recognised University/ Institute; and training in Fruit Preservation/ Fruit Processing at Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore/Bangalore or any other Government or Government Organised Institution or five years’ experience in a Fruit Preservation or Processing Factory of repute or Training Centre under Government, and Knowledge of Bengali/Nepali spoken and written.
Desirable: Teaching experience in a food Processing Institution.
Age Limit: Maximum-36 years as on 01.01.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000 – Rs.40,500 with Grade Pay Rs.4,700/-.
2. DRAFTSMAN
No. of Vacancies: 11 Nos. (UR-05, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: (i) Madhyamik Examination of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent Examination
(ii) National Trade Certificate from Industrial Training Institute in the trade of Draftsman or its equivalent and
(iii) Three years’ practical experience in Civil Engineering drawing works.
Age Limit: Maximum-39 years as on 01.01.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.7,100- Rs. 37,600 with Grade Pay Rs.3,600/-
Note:
Candidates belonging to the reserved category of state other than West Bengal, will be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates must have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (Not applicable to the candidates whose mother tongue in Nepali).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test/ Written Test and Interview.
