SAMITY ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT OFFICER RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION, 2015
On basis of the examination, the candidates will be selected for the posts of Samity Accounts and Audit Officer. The engagement will be initially made on temporary basis.
No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos. (Gen-09; SC-05; ST-01; BC-4 & PWD-1)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or a Member of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India.
Candidates should have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hill Sub-divisions of Darjeeling District, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Kalimpong and Kurseong).
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on 01.01.2015 (i.e. born not earlier than the 2nd January, 1983). Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal and by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and upto 45 years of age for persons with disabilities
SC, ST and BC candidates of other States may apply for unreserved vacancies as General candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000/- to Rs.40,500/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.4,700/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test (Preliminary Examination & Main Examination) and Personality Test.
The written examination will be held in Kolkata centre only in the last Week of June, 2015.
The Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., (i) Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and (ii) Main Examination (Conventional Type-Written) followed by Personality Test. A number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Main Examination and a number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Main Examination (Written) will be called to appear at the Personality Test.

Examination Fee: Candidates shall pay Rs.160/- through online mode using their debit/credit card or through Net banking (for online). Fee can be also paid offline through any branch of United Bank of India by means of fee challan. See officially released advertisement for more details.
No Fee only for SC/ST/PWD candidates of West Bengal.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official website of PSC WB — www.pscwbonline.gov.in from dated 27.04.2015 to 18.05.2015.
Candidates have to first go for “One Time Registration” (link available on top of the left panel in home page of the website – www.pscwbonline.gov.in) and fill up all the required data and uploading scanned photo and signature to get User ID and Password. However, those candidates who have earlier registered themselves with PSC, West Bengal need not to do registration again. They can use their previous User Id and Password for login into their respective Dashboards.
