SUB-OFFICER
No. of vacancies: 22 Nos. (Gen- 29; OBC-08, SC-11, ST-03)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or its equivalent. Candidates must have swimming Certificate.
Physical Measurement:
(i) Height – Minimum 5ft 6inch (For Gorkhas and other hill tribe candidates – 5ft 3inches)
(ii) Chest – 32 inches after full expiration with a minimum expansion of 2 inches.
Age Limit: Minimum-20 years and maximum-27 years as on 01.01.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.7100/- Rs.37,600/- and Grade Pay Rs.3,900/-
NOTE: CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE ABILITY TO READ, WRITE AND SPEAK IN BENGALI (NOT REQUIRED FOR THOSE CANDIDATES WHOSE MOTHER TONGUE IS NEPALI)
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms. SC, ST and BC Candidates of other states will be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test, Written Test and Interview
