CONSTABLES (MALE)
No. of Vacancies: 200 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or its equivalent.
Candidates must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective Subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-28 years as on 01/01/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.3200/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 5.10 inches; Chest (unexpanded) — 38 inches; Chest (expanded) — 40 inches
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Substance Abuse Test, Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test.
