Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) Examination-2016

CIVIL JUDGE (JUNIOR DIVISION)-CUM JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE
No. of Vacancies: 121 Nos.

 

Educational Qualification: Degree of Bachelor of Law or a Degree of Bachelor of Law of Punjab University (undivided), The Dacca University, The Tribhuwan University, Nepal. The Sind University or of the Rangoon or Mandalay University in Burma, or should be a Barrister of England or Ireland or member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland.
Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-37 years as on 26/10/2016.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.27, 700/- Rs.44,700/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva Voce.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.3000/- (Rs.1125/- for SC/ST of all states and OBC states of Punjab only) (Rs.1750/- for PWD of Punjab and Rs.500/- for Ex-Servicemen of Punjab state only) including Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Punjab Public Service Commission (PUNJAB PSC). Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 09/11/2016
