RAJA RAMANNA CENTRE FOR ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY (RRCAT) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 70 POSTS OF ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICER-A AND SECURITY GUARD. LAST DATE — 24/12/2015
(i) Assistant Security Officer / A – “Group B, Non Gazetted”
Number of Vacancies: 14 (SC-2, ST-3, OBC–2, UR–7)
Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/- plus other allowances as per norms.
(ii) Security Guard – Group ‘C’, Non Gazetted
Number of Vacancies: 60 (SC-9, ST-15, OBC-8, UR-28)
Qualification: Class 10 pass.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-
Physical Standards (for both above posts): Minimum Height : 167 Cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 80-85 Cms (Relaxable in height and chest for Scheduled Tribes and Hillmen as per Government Orders). Should be physically fit and free from any deformity.
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 31.12.2015. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Test, Written Test and Interview. See officially released advertisement for more details.
