Mazagon Dock Limited is inviting application for recruitment in the posts of – Executive Trainees in the discipline of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics in the Industrial Dearness Allowances (IDA) pay scales. Total vacancies—45 Nos. The selection of the candidates will be through GATE-2014. Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
EXECUTIVE TRAINEES (TECHNICAL) : 45 Nos.
Discipline—
— Mechanical: 24 Nos.
— Electrical: 14 Nos.
— Electronics: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full-Time degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics with minimum First Class or 60% Marks or equivalent Grade.
Final year students are also eligible to apply for the post but should make sure to obtain above mentioned percentage.
Pay Scale: Rs.16400—Rs.40500 plus other allowances as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection:
Selection of the candidates will be on basis of performance in the forthcoming Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)—2014 examination. GATE qualified candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
N.B: Candidates will require to apply for GATE—2014 from the official website of GATE which can be done from dated 02-09-2013 to 01-10-2013.
On the basis of GATE 2014 score, the candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview.
How to Apply:
Candidates will first need to apply Online for GATE – 2014 as per the information provided on the official website of GATE (See the link below).
On registration, unique GATE 2014 registration number would be generated, which has to be used for applying to Mazagon Dock Limited through the website — from 15.10.2013 to 29.11.2013.
Selection process will commence only after the declaration GATE 2014 results.
While applying on MDL website, candidates will require to mention their GATE Registration Number in the Application form. After final submission of online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration Slip and must retain it safely for future use.
