Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is inviting application for the recruitment of Graduate Engineers as Officers/ Engineers and Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers AND Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) through GATE – 2014. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
Discipline —
For Officers / Engineers: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & IT, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering
For Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers: Chemical Engg., Civil Engg., Electrical Engg., Instrumentation Engg., Mechanical Engg. and Metallurgical Engg.
Educational Qualification (For Both Officers/ Engineers and Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers):
Full time Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology in the above mentioned discipline with minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Final year students may also apply but should make sure to obtain the above mentioned percentage.
Age Limit: Maximum 26yrs as on 30/06/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs and Others – As per norms.
Candidates’ Selection:
Selection of the candidates will be on basis of performance in the forthcoming Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)—2014 examination. GATE qualified candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion, Group Task and Personal Interview for assessment of different facets of knowledge, skill, attitude and aptitude.
N.B: Candidates will require to apply for GATE—2014 from the official website of GATE which can be done from dated 02-09-2013 to 01-10-2013.
How to Apply:
Candidates must first apply for GATE – 2014 through the official website of GATE (See the link given below). They should wait for the admit card to get the GATE registration number
The candidates will receive their GATE-2014 Registration Number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply On-line for the above mentioned vacancies through the official website Indian Oil — www.iocl.com (live url is given below)
During filling the online application for IOCL, candidates will require to mention the Registration Number of GATE – 2014. After final submission of the form, the system generated application with unique Application ID will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and should keep it safely for future references.
