RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (RBI) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 163 POSTS OF OFFICERS IN GRADE ‘B’ (GENERAL), DIRECT RECRUITMENT – (DR). LAST DATE — 09/08/2016
1. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General), Direct Recruitment – (DR): 163 Nos. (Gen/UR- 77; OBC-52; SC-26; ST-08) (Out of total, 6 vacancies are reserved for PWD candidates)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalent grade in aggregate for all semesters/ years.
Candidates must have score 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in 10th standard examinations and 12th (Diploma or equivalent) standard examination.
Age Limit: Between 21 and 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/07/1986 and not later than 01/07/1995) as on 01/01/2016
Basic Pay: Rs.35,150 in the scale of Rs.35150 – Rs.62400 plus other allowances as per norms per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be through ON-LINE Examinations and interview. Examinations will be held in two phases, i.e. Phase-I Online Examination (Objective Type) and Phase-II Online Examination (Objective/Descriptive type)
Online Examination will be held at the following centres – Ahmedabad, Jammu, Bengaluru, Kanpur, Bhopal, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Chennai, New Delhi, Guwahati, Patna, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram.
Phase-I & Phase-II examination will be on 4th Sept & 19th Sept, 2016 respectively.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.850/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates as Application Fee. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (RBI) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
