Railway Recruitment Cell of Central Railway — Mumbai is recruiting 2572 persons (Males/ Females) for the posts of – Trackman, Hamal, Khalasis, Safaiwalas, Asst. Postman and Etc in pay band—1 in Mumbai, Pune, Bhusaval, Nagpur & Solapur Divisions of Central Railway. Employment Notice No. RRC/ CR/ 1/ 2012. Eligibility norms and other criteria in brief is given below—

The below posts in Pay Band—1 of Rs.5200—Rs.20200 with Grade pay: Rs.1800 Per month in Mumbai, Pune, Bhusaval, Nagpur & Solapur Division of Central Railway.

Name of the Post: Trackman, Hamal, Khalasis, Safaiwalas, Asst. Postman,  Etc
No. of Vacancies: 2572 Nos. (Gen—1514; SC—370; SC—206; OBC—482). Out of total 154nos. for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Qualification Required: Madhyamik pass (Class 10) pass or ITI or equivalent or above. Candidates waiting result may not apply.

Age limits: between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PH—10yrs; Widow/ legally separated women/ Divorcee—5yrs and Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.

Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) , Documents verification and Medical Examination.
Candidates who qualified Written Examination will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which will be of—
For Male Candidates – Run of 1500 mtrs in 6 minutes
For Female Candidates – Run of 400 mtrs in 3 minutes.

Application fee: Rs.40/- only in form of Crossed Demand Draft in favour of — Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment) Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway, Mumbai. Candidates should write their name and address at the back side of Indian Postal Order (IPO) / Demand Draft .
SC/ST, Women Candidates, PH, Minority and Economically Backward candidates were exempted from Application fee.

How to Apply:  Interested candidates may apply on prescribed Application Form which can be neatly typed or print-out on plain A4 size bond paper using one side only.
