MANAGEMENT TRAINEES (TECHNICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 382 Nos. (UR-191, OBC-104, SC-58, ST-29)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical Engineering: 125 posts
ii) Metallurgical Engineering: 88 posts
iii) Electrical Engineering: 88 posts
iv) Chemical Engineering: 25 posts
v) Instrumentation Engineering: 31 posts
vi) Mining Engineering: 25 posts
Educational Qualification: Full time Degree in Engineering with 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) or equivalent grade in the respective discipline from recognized university/ institute.
Candidates with Degree in Engineering/ Technology in related disciplines are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-28 years as on 01.02.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.20600- Rs.46500.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 155 cm; Weight — 45 kg
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through GATE 2018 score, Group Discussion and Interview.
Candidates selected as Management Trainees will be placed on training for one year. On successful completion of training of one year, the Management Trainees will be designated as Junior Managers and placed in the scale of pay of Rs. 24900- Rs.50500/-.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.100/- as processing fee for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) as Examination Fee.
