Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Rourkela Steel Plant, is recruiting 29 Para Medical Staffs (Trainee) for its Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela. Advt. No. 02/2014. 1. NURSING SISTER (TRAINEE)
Number of Vacancies: 21 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—3; ST—5; OBC—3)
2. NURSING BROTHER (TRAINEE)
Number of Vacancies: 8 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; ST—2; OBC—1)
Educational Qualification & Experience (For both posts): B.Sc (Nursing) and shall possess valid registration in Nursing Council of India / State Nursing Council and having at least 01 (one) year post qualification experience in a hospital / nursing home.
OR
Intermediate or 10+2 with Science with Diploma of 03 (three) years duration in General Nursing and Midwifery and shall possess valid registration in Nursing Council of India / State Nursing Council; and having at least 01 (one) year post qualification experience in a hospital / nursing home
Age: 28yrs as on 01/06/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: For the post of Nursing Sister (Trainee) / Nursing Brother (Trainee), eligible candidates will be required to appear in the written test. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written test will be required to appear in the interview.
The written test / interview shall be held at Rourkela. Date & Time of the written test/ interview will be intimated at later stage to the eligible shortlisted candidates.

Application/ Processing Fee: Rs.250/- (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD & Ex-Serv.).Fee is to be paid by means of Fee Challan through any branches of State Bank of India (See PDF below). Candidates will require to pay Rs.30/- additionally as Bank charges. Bank Challan can be downloaded from the SAIL’s website.
