Enrolment of SAILORS for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) in Indian Navy – Batch: 01/2013
Required Qualification: Higher Secondary pass (Class 10+2) with Maths and Physics along with any one of the following subjects — Chemistry/ Biology or Computer Science.
Age required: Candidates should have born between 1/2/1992 to 31/1/1996
Pay Scale: During training period stipend of Rs.5700 will be given per month and after completion of training period, they will be absorbed in pay scale of Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 per month and Grade pay of Rs.2000.
Physical Standards of the candidates: Height—157 cms, Chest— proportionate and ability to expand by 5 cms, Weight—Proportional to Age and height as per medical standard, Eye Sight—6/6 with better eye (without Glasses and with Glasses) and 6/9 with worse eye (6/6 with Glasses).
Candidates should not have Cardio- vascular disease, surgical deformities like knock knee, flat feet etc. infection of ears, no history of fits or psychiatric ailment, varicose vein, corrective surgery for eye sight etc.
Candidates’ Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test, Physical Fitness Test, Medical Standard Test and Finally Medical Examination.
How to Apply: Apply Online or Offline. Online Application can be made from the official website of Indian Navy — http://www.nausena-bharti.nic.in. Click the link named “Apply Online” available on the home page.
Fill the forms and click the Submit button. After successful submission of Application form; a system Generated form with Application No. will appear on the screen. Print-out two copies of this generated form. One copy of this should be signed and enclosed with attested copies of matriculation certificate, 10+2marksheet& domicile and send it to the prescribed address by Ordinary post within 22nd June 2012. On the top of the envelope super scribe – “Online SSR Application -01/2013 batch & 10+2 Percentage _______”.
Candidates opting to apply offline should prepare the form on plain paper as per format and then along with documents should sent it by Ordinary posts at the respective address. For more details on how to apply please refer the Advt. available on the official website of Indian Army mentioned above.
