Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 46 posts of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) in following stream – General, Legal, Engineering(Civil)-Technical, Official Language and Research Stream. SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA (SEBI) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 46 POSTS OF OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) IN FOLLOWING STREAM – GENERAL, LEGAL, ENGINEERING(CIVIL)-TECHNICAL, OFFICIAL LANGUAGE AND RESEARCH STREAM. LAST DATE — 07/09/2015

 

Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager)
Name of the Stream, No. of vacancies and Qualification are as follows: –

1. General: 32 posts (OBC-11; SC-09; ST-12)

Qualification: Masters Degree in Economics/ Commerce/ MBA/ Post Graduate Degree in Management/ Post Graduate Diploma in Management with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in the aggregate, CA/CFA/CS/ICWA.

 

2. Legal: 09 posts (OBC-6; SC-1; ST-2)

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognised University/Institute with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in the aggregate or LLM.

 

3. Engineering (Civil) – Technical: 01 (ST)

Qualification: Bachelor‟s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate (55% for ST)

 

4. Official Language: 02 (OBC-1; ST-1)

Qualification: Masters Degree in Hindi with 55% in the aggregate with English as one of the subjects at Bachelors Degree level or Masters Degree in Sanskrit /English /Economics/Commerce with 55% in the aggregate with Hindi as a subject at Bachelors Degree level (50% for SC)

 

5. Research: 02 (OBC-1; ST-1)

Qualification: Masters degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/ MBA (Finance)/ Econometrics with minimum 55% marks for officers(50% for ST).
Candidates with a Doctorate in topics related to above subjects shall be given preference. Research or teaching experience and publication in standard journals will be considered as an additional qualification.

 

Note: Candidates applying for any above stream should have knowledge of Computer (Covering MS Office, Etc)

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Maximum 30yrs for OBC and 32 years for SC/ST candidates. Relaxation of 05 years for domiciled of J&K, 10 years for PWD candidates and as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen

 

Pay Scales (For all above posts/discipline): Rs.17100/- – Rs.33200/- plus other allowances as per norms. and

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Online Examination and Interview. Online Examination will be of Objective type (Multiple choice) for 200 marks.

Examination will be held on October 11, 2015. Examination Cente will be at – Ahmedabad/ Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Kolkata/ Greater Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad/Rangareddy,  Lucknow,  Bhubaneswar,  Indore, Mumbai/Greater Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane, Chandigarh,  Jaipur,  New Delhi- NCR, Chennai,  Kochi/Ernakulam, Patna

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.600/- for OBC categories and Rs.100/- for SC/ST & PWD candidates as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available.
