ASSISTANT ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 21 Nos. (UR-04, BL-04, ST-03, SC-01, PT-01, OBC-08)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Candidates awaiting final year result may also apply.
Other requisites:
i) Candidate must be a permanent resident of Sikkim.
ii) Candidates should be conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim and knowledge of any of the State Languages viz-Nepali, Sikkimese Bhutia, Lepcha or Limboo.
iii) Valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim and Category Certificate.
iv) No Objection Certificate from the Appointing Authority/ Head of Department in case of regular employed candidate.
v) Marital Status (for female candidate).
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-30 years as on 31.05.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300- Rs.34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 5000/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Main (Written) Examination and Interview.
