GENERAL DUTY MEDICAL OFFICER (GDMO)
No. of vacancies: 47 Posts.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized University.
(ii) Candidate should have completed rotatory Internship of one year from a recognized Institute and registered with Medical Council of India or Medical Council of State.
(iii) Should be conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim.
(iv) Should have knowledge of any of the recognized State languages.
(v) Should have local Employment Card.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates of state Sikkim
Age Limit: Between 21 years to 40 years as on 15/02/2018
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Open Competitive Examination which consists of Main (Written) Examination and Interview Test.

Application Fee: Rs.150/- is to be paid through Online mode using Credit/Debit card/ Net banking or any other online mode as available in the website of Sikkim PSC.
PWD category are exempted from paying the fees.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
