Educational Qualification and Age limits:
1. For Fresher Category:
(i). Fitter: Class 10 pass
(ii). Electrician: Class 10 pass with Science as one of the subjects.
(iii). Ref. & AC Mechanic: Class 10 pass with Science (Physics & Chemistry) and Mathematics
(iv) Carpenter, Painter, Upholster, Welder (G&E): Class VIII pass.
(v) Medical Lab Technician (Radiology/ Pathology/Cardiology): Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Age Limits: 15 – 20yrs for Welder, Carpenter, Painter & Upholster; 15-22yrs for Fitter, Electrician and Ref. &AC and 15-24yrs for MLT
2. For Ex-ITI Category:
(i) Fitter, Machinist, MMV, Turner, Diesel Mechanic: Class 10 pass and ITI in relevant trade.
(ii) Electrician, Cable Jointer: Class 10 with Science as one of the subject and ITI in relevant trade.
(iii) Ref. & AC Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Winder (Armature): Class 10 pass with Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics or its equivalent and ITI course in relevant trade.
(iv) Carpenter, Painter, Welder (G&E) Wireman: Class 8 pass and ITI in relevant trade.
(v) Mechanic (HT. LT Equipment & Cable Jointing): Class 10 pass with Science as one of the subjects and Board Basic Training in Electrical Sector in Operation and Maintenance of equipment used in HT/LT and Cable Jointing.
(vi) PASAA: Class 10 pass and National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
Age Limits: 15-22yrs for Welder, Carpenter, Painter & Wireman and 15-24yrs for rest of all trades.
Upper Age Relaxation: Age will be counted as on 01/10/2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
